FC in Maine Receives Continuation Funding
The Maine Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation &
Substance Abuse Services and the Maine Department of Education have
demonstrated their ongoing commitment to facilitated communication by
providing continuation funding to the Center for Community Inclusion
to continue FC for 1996-97. The funding allows the Center to continue
to provide technical assistance, support, information dissemination,
and outreach education regarding FC. This joint funding effort allows
us to address the needs of Maine's children and adults, their family
members, educators and support staff. For additional information on
the project or to request technical assistance, please contact Alan
Kurtz, Project Coordinator at (207)581-1262, voice; or (207)581-3328
TT.
