In summary, factors which must be considered when planning statewide/district or alternative assessment for students with visual impairments, including those with multiple disabilities, should include trained professionals, specialized accommodations, include assessment of the Expanded Core Curriculum areas, as well as the General Education Curriculum according to the student's needs as identified in his IEP.
