for Children
ChildLINK is a University of
Maine/Maine Center for Disease Control and
Prevention collaboration aimed at helping families raise healthy
children through early childhood screening and follow-up. The ChildLINK
database integrates the information from the State of Maine Electronic
Birth Certificate with information from the Newborn Hearing Screen, the
Newborn Metabolic Screen, and the Birth Defects Registry. The goal of
this collaboration is to help families receive information and
appropriate services that will benefit both parents and children.
