Graduate Study in Early Intervention

Training Options for Early Intervention Personnel

 Financial Support Agreement

Financial support will be available to students in TOP who are completing courses for a master’s degree or Certificate of Advanced Studies in Early Intervention or are completing coursework required for the Maine Department of Education Endorsement as a Teacher of Young Children with Disabilities, Birth to School-Age 5.

This program is funded through the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services. Federal regulations require students who receive financial assistance through U.S. Department of Education personnel preparation grants to provide two years of professional services to children with disabilities for each year a stipend is received or to repay all or part of the assistance received.
