Director - Child Development Services, Androscoggin County
CDS-AC is seeking an experienced educational professional to
provide leadership in the administration of early intervention
services for children ages birth to two and special education
services for children ages three to five in Androscoggin County.
The Director manages the administrative, programmatic and fiscal
operations of the regional site based in Lewiston and is responsible
for Androscoggin County services.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in special
education, public policy, administration or other human services
field. A 030 (Special Education Director) certification is preferred
and a working knowledge of early intervention is needed. A minimum
of 3-5 years of management and supervisory experience and a sound
understanding of special education law, early intervention, and
experience working in public schools is preferable.
Salary Range: $48,000-$60,000.

early childhood care/education.
