Graduate Study in Early Intervention

Instructions for Downloading Readings from The University of Maine's Library Website:

Note: Only those readings with ELECTRONIC ACCESS after the title can be downloaded. If a reading does not have ELECTRONIC ACCESS after its title, it has not been scanned in yet. Check back periodically to see when more readings have been scanned in.

To access the readings for TOP courses which are on electronic reserve at Fogler Library, visit this link: http://www.library.umaine.edu/

  • Look for "Services and Forms," and select the E-Reserves link.
  • Under Course Reserves, select Course Name or Instructor
  • Enter the name of the instructor or the course name in the blank and click "SEARCH". This will open another window.
  • Select the instructor by clicking on it. This will open another window. Select the course by clicking on it.
  • Click any of the titles. Another page opens with information about the reading, such as author and location. Click on the title of the article.
  • Another page opens requesting a password. Type in the password, which is the course designator and number, followed by the last name of the instructor. For example, the password for SEI 507 taught by Sharon Gilbert is sei507gilbert. It is case sensitive. The password for SEI 501 taught by Sandy Doctoroff, is sei501doctoroff. It is also case sensitive.
  • Do not add any spaces. Click on the "Accept" button.
  • Another window opens with the listing of readings.
  • Click on a reading and it will download.

Note: You will also find on the last page listing the reading a link labeled Help navigating this page and a link labeled (Problems viewing PDF or other file formats? Read this!) Please use these links for help.

You will need to have acrobat reader to read these articles. This is a free program which can be downloaded at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
