|
~ A completed project ~
The Maine Works for
Youth! project is working to achieve the six core outcome
indicators of Achieving and Measuring Success for Children with
Special Health Care Needs by 2010 and The New Freedom
Initiative. This is a collaborative effort of the Maine Department
of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Health, Children with Special Health Needs
Program, and The University of Maine Center for Community Inclusion and
Disability Studies.
Maine Works for Youth! is one of five
Healthy & Ready to Work
Phase II state initiatives, funded by the
Maternal and Child Health
Bureau, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Members of the Maine Works
for Youth! staff and Youth Educators & Advocators of Maine (YEA ME!) will
present a workshop at the PacRim Conference in Honolulu, HI, in early
March. Their presentation, Leadership and
Innovation to Enhance Quality Care and Transition: YOUTHSPEAK in Maine,
is available here in Microsoft PowerPoint format. (If you do not have
PowerPoint, a PPT viewing tool is
available.)
